Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, the daughter of a musician from Mexico was born into an adored family of musicians. Her early years were shaped by the classical music of her parents, boleros as well as the classic romantic, ranchero, as well as romance ballads. Ana loves tangos and opera, as well as any dramatic performance. Ana began learning to play and sing at an early age alongside her mother. The formal singing instruction at the age of 16 old, under the legendary Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. In Guadalajara she studied at the School of Music of University of Guadalajara and then in Toluca at the School of Sacred Music. The singer performed throughout Guadalajara, Mexico City and other cities as a young student and professional. She sang in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to the southern part of California. She sings as a soloist Latin American music for private occasions and is a part of Ensemble XXI in Redlands. She is passionate about performing, music, as well as the arts keeps active in community projects in both her capacity as an artist and instructor. Ana has also been a former member of Community Chorus of Redlands as well as members of the Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana thank the Inland Master Choir for their permission to play traditional Latin American song.
