Rosalia

Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is a Spanish pop and flamenco singer. Since she was a teenager Rosalia has delved into the dark side of both pop and traditional music. Pepe Habichuela, a flamenco guitar player who is renowned for her talent, described her voice as one that was sweet with an old-fashioned bite. Her debut album Los Angeles garnered attention from the U.S. public and earned her an Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist her 2018 follow-up El Mal Querer was a major critical and commercial breakthrough that topped Billboard's Latin Pop Albums chart and finally winning an Grammy. La Fama was released by the Weeknd in 2021. It was her third studio album. Motomami collaborated on songwriting with a variety of producers and artists such as Cory Henry and James Blake. It was released on March 20, 2022, in the wake of the live performance by Chicken Teriyaki by Saturday Night Live. Rosalia became the first Spanish solo artist to perform on Saturday Night Live. As well as winning three other Latin Grammy Awards for Motomami Rosalia was also the first woman to win this award twice. Latin Album of the Year twice.
