Maggie Grace was born Margaret Grace Denig in September 21 1982. Maggie Grace is an American Actress best known as Shannon Rutherford in ABC TV show Lost. After the divorce of her parents, she left Worthington, Ohio to live in Los Angeles. Her first role came to her in the film, Rachel's Room's lead character in 2001, despite having a difficult time in the financial department. She went on to earn a Young Artist Award nomination in 2002, for her role as the 15 year old murder victim Martha Moxley in the television film Murder set in Greenwich. Grace Rutherford was the lead actress on Lost in its two initial seasons. In 2004 she received the Screen Actors Guild Award with all the cast. Grace decided to concentrate on film after starring opposite Tom Welling's character on The Fog, in 2005. The actress starred in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club in 2007 as well as Taken (2008) alongside Liam Neeson. She reprised her role for Taken 2 (2012) and Taken 3 (2014).She played the main character Alice in Malice in Wonderland a modern version of Lewis Carroll's classic novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Grace played Shannon on the final episode and two other episodes. She also was a guest in the sixth season of Californication. She portrays Faith as a groupie as well as a model for the stars. She is part of Gyllenhaal's family, and is the older sister of Jake Gyllenhaal. Her career began in the teen years with minor appearances in her father's films and appeared alongside her brother in the cult favorite Donnie Darko (2001). She then appeared as a character in Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind (both 2002) and Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal received nominations for the Golden Globe Award in both the romantic comedy Sherrybaby (2005) and the romance comedy Secretary (2002). Both movies were critically acclaimed. Following several commercially-successful films, including World Trade Center in 2006 her fame grew for her role as Rachel Dawes (the superhero) in The Dark Knight (2007). She received a nomination for the award of Best Supporting Actress at the Academy Awards for her portrayal of a single mom on screen in Crazy Heart. The subsequent roles she has played include Nanny McPhee as well as the Big Bang and Hysteria.
